October 29, 2014 marked the two-year anniversary of Hurricane Sandy that devastated the Eastern Seaboard. Today, there are still families who are homeless from the storm – this is why Jersey Shore Volunteers is assisting these families.

Humanity TV created a TAKE ME OUT TO THE BALLGAME FOR SWE ALL-STARS DAY. This program will host outstanding young participants with a free day at Bethesda's Big Train Baseball stadium, including a ticket to enter the game and a teen friendly meal.

TAKE ME OUT TO THE BALLGAME FOR SO WHAT ELSE ALL-STAR DAY was devoted for local at-risk youth in our own neighborhoods. These kids are participating in afterschool programs currently sponsored by So What Else (SWE). Please take a moment to read about their mission and activities. Each year's program helps approximately 3,000 children who would otherwise have nowhere to go after school. These are our neighbors in Washington, DC and Montgomery County, MD.

Travel for a purpose stories of volunteering produced by volunteers for volunteers

To the hundreds of volunteers and supporters who share our mission, TravelTelevision wishes you only the best for the new year and forward. For the past 12 years we have created over 250 episodes of TravelTelevision, filled with visions of travel for a purpose. There have been stories of nonprofit organizations helping others to recover from Hurricane Katrina, the Joplin Tornado disaster, and rebuilding after the devastation of Hurricane Sandy. These stories and episodes are examples of neighbors helping neighbors.

Over the years TravelTelevision has been grateful for the many people who let us tell their stories and to the many volunteers who witnessed and aided our video production. Our staff was made up of volunteers who gave freely of their time and talents. The meals served at our production events were catered by local restaurants and grocery chains.

TravelTelevision wraps new production with this message to all our supporters, friends, volunteers, and viewers.

Please view recorded episodes at YouTube.
